The lagoon is the mooring place of the Tranquilo, a 43-foot sailing yacht that offers several different scenic cruises.Many diving operations on the island use the lagoon for diving tours including classes for beginners. You can call Dennis at Aruba Surf and Paddle School to experience stand-up paddle boarding which has become an extremely popular way to enjoy the Spanish Lagoon. You can also contact Z-Underwater views for a day or night tour in their clear kayaks. 

The cabana is within walking distance from a small convenience store, and the Marina Pirata, one of the best restaurants on the island.
